Roker Gutter Vacuum Service — Camera Checked
Gutters cleared and checked in Roker. High-reach vacuum, no ladder risk, before/after photo proof. Call Trevor on 07501 060609.
07501060609Gutter cleaning is one of those jobs that's cheap to do regularly and expensive to ignore. A routine clear costs a fraction of what it takes to fix a soaked timber fascia, a damp-damaged wall, or a downpipe that's split from being frozen solid with debris.
Our vacuum system does the same job from the ground, reaching up to three storeys with a camera to check the work. Even Roker's exposure to weather blowing in off the coast, roughly 0 miles away, doesn't change the approach — it just means we check the gutters a little more often.
We clean gutters in Roker using a high-reach vacuum system operated from the ground — no ladders resting against your fascia, no one walking your roof edge. The pole reaches up to three storeys, which covers the vast majority of homes we work on.
Part of Our Sunderland Coverage
Roker sits within the wider Sunderland area, which we cover as part of our standard gutter vacuum service across the North East.
Working the wider Sunderland area regularly means local knowledge of typical property types and access, which helps us quote accurately without needing an extra site visit first.
Local, Reliable, Straightforward
- Washington-based
- Covering roughly 45 miles across the North East from a local base, not a distant call centre.
- Owner Trevor
- A business run directly by its owner, not a franchise passing work down a chain.
- Fully insured
- Cover in place for every job, residential or commercial.
- "We look after you and your property"
- The standard we work to on every single visit, gutters included.
Tree-Lined and Shaded Properties
Mature trees overhanging a roof are the single biggest driver of gutter blockages we see. Leaves, seed pods, twigs and moss spores land on the roof, wash down into the gutter, and then sit in the shade the same trees provide — which means they stay wet and rot down into thick silt rather than blowing away.
That shaded, damp environment is also ideal for moss to establish in the gutter itself, not just on the roof tiles above it. Properties under tree cover typically need clearing more often than an exposed house nearby, simply because the debris load is heavier and the drying-out time is longer.
Homeowners
For Homeowners Who'd Rather Not Go Up a Ladder
For a lot of people, the real barrier to getting gutters cleaned isn't cost — it's that nobody in the house wants to be up a ladder, or shouldn't be. Because our system works entirely from the ground, that's simply not a factor. You get the gutters cleared and checked without anyone on your property going near a ladder or a roof edge.
What's Included in the Price
Every gutter vacuum clean includes ground-based clearance of all accessible gutter runs, a camera check of each section, downpipe flow testing, and before-and-after photos handed over on the day.
Prices are generally hedged around the ranges below, with the final figure confirmed once we know the property's exact height, number of runs, and access.
| Front gutters only | from around £50 |
|---|---|
| Full property (front and rear) | typically £75–£140 |
| Extension or outbuilding add-on | typically £25–£45 extra |
| Repeat annual customer | usually toward the lower end of the range |
How Our Gutter Vacuum System Works
We start by walking the property and looking at the roofline from ground level, noting any obvious sagging, overflow staining or loose sections before the vacuum goes anywhere near the gutter.
The pole-mounted vacuum head is then worked along every run, pulling out moss, silt, leaves and any nesting material section by section, while the built-in camera lets us watch what's happening inside the gutter in real time.
Once a run is clear we flush it through and watch the downpipe outlet to confirm water is actually leaving the system, then move on to the next section until the whole property has been covered.
Pole Reach and Coverage
- The pole system extends to cover gutters up to three storeys high, which handles the great majority of houses and smaller commercial premises in Roker without any need for a ladder or scaffold tower.
- Sections attach and detach depending on the property, so we're not carrying more pole than a job needs, and can work efficiently whether it's a single-storey extension or a full three-storey terrace.
