Start with the side facing the sea
Redcar’s seafront offers a very different cleaning setting from the quieter residential streets behind it. On exposed elevations, spray can leave a fine deposit on the glass and around frame corners. A window may look cloudy even when there is little obvious mud. Coatham has older terraces and compact outside spaces, while Dormanstown includes estate housing with gardens, side passages and more space to position equipment. Those distinctions matter more than choosing a single method for an entire town.
Tell us which windows face the coast and which are sheltered behind the building. Salt residue is an exterior deposit; misting between the panes is a different problem that cleaning cannot resolve. Keeping those two issues separate avoids expecting a wash to correct a failed sealed unit. Photographs of the whole elevation help show both the glazing and any obstacles below it.
